1 cup cleaned, raw whole pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp fine sea salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 375º. In a saucepan bring 4 cups water the seeds and 1 tbsp salt to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then drain. Pat the seeds dry between layers of paper towels.
Toss the seeds in oil and remaining salt. Spread in a single layer on a greased foil lined baking sheet. Roast until golden 10-12 minutes.
It is not recommended to eat at a restaurant during phase 2. Many restaurants inject sugar, MSG and other fillers into their food. You have no real control over what your food is cooked with. But sometimes, there is no choice.
Order a grilled chicken Cesar salad with the croutons, cheese and dressing on the side.
Order a spinach salad with a grilled chicken breast with the dressing on the side.
